General Practice Manager / Client Portfolio Manager

As a General Practice Manager, you will be responsible for a portfolio of clients, primarily within the agriculture industry. As a general practice firm, we deliver a service that supports our clients at every step of their business’ journey from tax advice to annual accounts and audit.

Responsibilities

  • Dealing with sole traders and partnerships as well as non-audit limited companies.
  • Able to control the IHT and CGT issues that affect the family farm or business.
  • Very much a general practice role working within a team.
  • Regular client interaction on the telephone and face to face.
  • Reviewing the files and reporting to the Directors before meeting with the client at the annual accounts meeting.
  • Able to generate new areas of advice for the clients.
  • Advising on PAYE and VAT issues arising on the portfolio.
  • Working to a high level of technical and practical ability.
  • Able to interact effectively with both the team and the clients.
