Authorising an agent to deal with your HMRC personal tax

The fastest and most straightforward way to set this up is by notifying HMRC through your online Government Gateway account.

This will allow us to download what HMRC has received and what they think your figures are.

Follow these easy steps below to get started:

1. Sign into your Government Gateway account
2. Select ‘Business tax account’
3. Choose ‘Manage account’
4. Click on ‘All other tax agent services’
5. Select ‘Authorise an agent’
6. Enter our agent’s Government Gateway code: T1555U4GSMMB
7. Confirm that the agent details are correct

Once these steps are completed, we’ll be able to manage and discuss your business affairs with HMRC on your behalf.
