Authorising an agent to deal with your HMRC businesss tax

The fastest and most straightforward way to set this up is by notifying HMRC through your online Government Gateway account.

This will allow us to download what HMRC has received and what they think your figures are.

Follow these easy steps below to get started:

1. Sign into your business tax account using your Government Gateway
2. Select ‘Manage account’
3. On the ‘Manage account’ page, under the ‘Tax agents’ category select  ‘Add, view or change tax agent’
4. Select which tax you want to add a tax agent to
5. On the ‘Manage who can access your taxes and schemes’ page, select ‘Add an agent’ for the tax that you would like to update
6. On the “Add an agent to this tax or scheme?” page, enter our agent ID: Eldohouse-MT2VQLP8WR5H
7. After entering the agent ID you will be asked to confirm that your agent’s details are correct – if they are select ‘Add agent’

Once these steps are completed, we’ll be able to manage and discuss your business affairs with HMRC on your behalf.
